What I think about my model.

My model is a brilliant and it is a vase. My friends are so kind they let me use cardbourd and paper and glue. My model is red with black on it. I think my model is good and it is not scruffy. i like my model because it stands up and it is not falling apart. I hope it stays up and i hope it doesn't fall down.

My Model

My model is going to be about 30 cm high and it is going to be thin at the top and fat at the bottom and the bottom is going to be about 20 cm wide. The top bit is going to be about 10 cm wide and I am going to paint it with brown and orange and yellow paints to make it look old. I will get a black crayon or marker and draw cracks on it so it looks old.
PVA glue: slitly water down and use straight after. i am going to make the mould by using two balloon one long and one round. paste the paper on each side of the ballons. when completly dry put as many layers on it to it is thick enough. smooth down when layer is put on to get rid of air bubbles. Don't put two many layers on ate once because it won't dry in time. put two to three layers on at a time. Then paint with paints. I will Need:newspaper, PVA glue, paintbrush, paints, emulsion and patience. It will look fantastic.

Ancient Greece Food!!!

This is a picture of some of the ancient greeces food. I wonder if they had to eat what theywere told. I also wonder if they had sweets and chocolate. This is a picture of bread, olives, beans and fruit. It was a mans job to go to the market and get the food and the slaves would take it back to the house for them. I thought it was a womens job to go to the market. Did the women make and cook breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Athens

Women did not have citizen rights.They did not take part in assemblys.They usually got married at 13 years old.In poorer familys girls helped the boys do farming and family business.Girls got educated by doing house work.They had a green grocerys.Bethany x

Ancient greece

Athens had law courts with trail by jury. Juries were much larger than today. In the juries they had several hundered members. When they went in court they placed a metal disc into two jars. The man or women that was guilty had to be killed. They had a water timer and I know why it was used. It was used because every body wanted to speak and they wouldn't have enough time for everybody to speak so they had a water timer to time how long they spoke.
I think I know a bit more about the Athems.

Times tables

Fraction games

On the fractions monkeys I got 6 on the easy one with out getting 2 wrong.
On the hard one I got 3 with out getting5 wrong.
On show the fractions I got 23 because on the fraction 7 out of 9 I only put in six by aciddent.
On match the fractions I got 4 out of 4 on the first round, I got 5 out of 5 on the second round, I got 8 out of 8 on the thurd round and I got 4 wrong but in the end I got 8 out of 8, I got 10 out of 10 on the fourth round andI got 7 wrong but in the end I got 10 out of 10.

Times tables and other stuff

Today Beth you got 23/48 for the times tables test. You need to improve this score quickly by practising every night. Try to pick out the easy ones from the test and learn them first.

Also, you've got a great blog here but I'd like you to make sure you keep up to date with homework and posts. Also, include the spellings you are learning and websites you have visited to help you with your affrimations. For example you could play some maths games to help you with your affrimation about getting better at maths.

I'll be coming back soon to see what you've been doing and I am sure I'll see more great work like your review on the DVD.

Cinderella Story

This DVD is called Cinderella story and I thing that it is the best book in the world. It is about a girl who gets hold of this boys number and email. He didn't know who she was and he said to meet him a the halloween dance in the middle of the dance floor. She works in a diner and all her friends tell her to go to the dance. She has nothing to wear so her friend lets her borrow her wedding dress. She was not allowed to go but she went she had to be back before 12 because her step mum will be at the diner. The jude at the halloween had to choose a prince and a princess and he choose the girl and the boy but the boy didn't know who she was because she had a beautiful mask on. Her two step sisters read her emails and did a show about her emails on the rugby stage at the rugby ground. Then she quit her diner job and stayed at her friends house that use to work at the diner. When it was the final rugby match she was on her way out and the boy went over to her and kissed her. Then they went to live in the vally together and they ended up going on holiday together. The main character is Hilary Duff. I am a big fan of hilary Duff. I wish I could go to her concerts but it is a lot of money. You can get Cinderella story from lots of shops like woolworths and WHSmiths. The DVD is about £11.99. I like the story because they make the story go on by the step sisters read her emails and do a show about her emails at the rugby stadium.
If I was to give the DVD a marking I would give it 100/100.That is how good it is. Hope you like it!!!
